The Athenian name for the local star at the center of the Athena system.

Athena Six

The capital of the Kingdom of Athena. A warm world with a wide tropical band and abundant deep oceans. The world has five continents and is home to two billion people.

Whooping Ant

A family of two centimeter-long scavenger on Athena known for having the smallest opposable thumbs in the galaxy, and a mouth on either end of its segmented body. It walks on eight legs.

Ecologists have discovered at least eight hundred different species of Whooping Ant on Aetna.

Besides its opposable thumbs, the family has the unique ability to generate as a colony a thump often described as a thud or bang. This “whoop” has been measured up to seventy-eight decibels and is used to scare off would be predators and to keep larger animals from accidentally stepping in their colony.

The Kingdom of Apollos

This is a single system state that is the home of the Pax Imperium Empress. The state like the Empress is supposed to be strictly neutral in policy matters that don’t concern the security of the Empire as a whole.

I-MAM (The Imperial Museum of Modern Art)

The Imperial Museum of Modern Art (I-MAM) is physically located on the planet Apollos. However, it is also one of the most visited venues in intraspace. It is also one of the few venues outside of Unity Space that is freely accessible to Unity citizens.

I-MAM’s popularity online comes from its immersions of its attendees in all sorts of surreal interactive art. One minute an attendee might be a teacup being lifted up by a giant hand and tipped into a waiting mout, and in the next, they might be a fuzzy ball of fur rolling down a sand hill in a desert.

Some I-MAM exhibits can be highly political giving Unity citizens a rare opportunity to see how they appear to the rest of the galaxy.

New Amsterdam

The largest city on Sicily 4, with a population of 12,000,000.

Catania

A large Saturnian gas giant far out in the Sicily system. It’s inner moon Aetna is home to some 60,000 people.

Sicily 4

Locate in the Sicily system in the Unity, Sicily 4 is an inhabitable planet with a breathable atmosphere and a population of just under 6.5 billion. It is one of the largest planets in the Unity and the home of Anna Prindle.
